Over its forty year history, Firehall Arts Centre had become a focal point for Vancouver’s theatre scene by marrying world-renowned artistic direction with community-focused programming. While their core audience remained loyal, they asked for Harc’s support to revitalize their brand and website to engage and convert new audiences. As long-time supporters ourselves, we were excited to jump in the sandbox.
Working in collaboration with their Artistic Producer, Sales & Fundraising and Operations teams, we crafted a brand position and identity that leveraged the connectedness of their programming with the neighbourhood and broader community. The resulting visuals evoke a high-energy theatre that forefronts community issues, conversations, and– ultimately– stories.
