Who You Are
While we acknowledge, uplift and respect motion designers focused on 3D-rendering and contemporary experimental graphics, our intent is to find a Motion Graphics Designer whose interests lie in bringing 2D graphics to life. Do you get excited about animating static logos? Kinetic typography? Unexpected motion transitions in web-design? Looney Toons? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we’re excited to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
Reporting to our Creative Director, the Motion Graphic Designer’s main focus will centre on iteratively concepting, storyboarding, and producing high quality animated assets for publication to the web or–in the case of designing a website’s animated transitions–implementation by our web developer. The successful candidate will have experience with the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and After Effects.
This is a part-time, contract position with opportunities to shift and increase your responsibilities over time. We’re a compassionate team of creative risk-takers, so our aim is to find a collaborator to grow alongside into the future. Please be honest and upfront regarding your career path and current context; we’re open-minded about how or where the successful candidate works.
