The interaction between in and outdoors is central to accomplishing balance when designing stunning architecture. Ask Christine Lintott’s team: any one of them will tell you that the respect for the habitats they author projects within is the lodestar of their work. This concept also became the core inspiration of our recent rebrand of the company, resulting in a gorgeous combination of man-made meets organic, hard meets soft, and digital meets analogue.
We worked with the Lintott Architecture team on brand identity, copywriting, photoshoot production, and web design.
For Lintott Architects, finding a colour story and pattern language that felt effortless, sophisticated, and coastal was our biggest priority. Drawing from the deep blues of historical architectural drawings, we centred everything on vivid blue and let the brand’s whitespace speak for itself.
The biggest challenge on this project was finding ways of expressing a respect for the environment and the various players involved in a project without falling back on clichéd buzzwords like sustainability or synergy. In the end, we found that a conversational tone and a focus on working side-by-side– with each other, with a project’s surroundings, with stakeholders– was most effective.
